We have a little snow out there (probably 2 inches over the past few weeks) but at different times it would melt back from the Sun.
So nothing really out there. Earlier in the season when it was still 60 or so Momma and I tentatively slated to take this weekend and go up to the Adirondacks for a long weekend and introduce Andrew to a little snow while snow shoeing at one of the state parks in the area.
Unfortunately we all got ill (and still recovering) so we didn't make it up there, which could have been a good thing considering with all of the warm weather this season the great lakes didn't freeze over as they normally do when the cold came and snow started falling the areas that we had looked at heading to were now getting 40-60 inches of snow a WEEK!
Just looked at the news and this weekend the area we were going to is slated for an additional 80-90 inches of snow! Just amazing! I have never seen that much snow in my life.
Hopefully we can get a good snow here locally and take him out on a trail or at least out in the yard to see him toddle around in the snow. I think that he will be really interested in it... Just the look on his face when he decided to take a bite of the snow will be precious.
Waiting for snow,
Daddy
