Pool day!

Since Nathan starts his conference at 4:00pm today we stayed around the hotel and enjoyed everything here on site.

The morning began with exploration of the grounds. The Ritz and Marriott are co-located in Orlando, so guests have access to both facilities. We wandered past the lazy river at the Marriott (Oh that would be nice... just don't think Andrew will sit still long enough!) and finally into one of the restaurants for breakfast. We then quickly discovered Andrew has lost all of his tolerance for new experiences (as now expressed by high pitched vocal protests), and unless there is something very interesting in it for him, he does NOT want to sit quietly playing at the table while Momma and Daddy eat their breakfast. sigh. The breakfast buffet was very nice, if we did only get to eat an abbreviated version of it. No lingering over a cup of coffee for us for awhile!

We then headed for the playground and baby pool. The Ritz has one of the zero degree entry pools for babies, with only about 6 inches of water at it's deepest point. Add 3 water fountains to the mix and you have a perfect baby/toddler play area.

A great day had by all.
