Our little Sweet Pea sure is enjoying the bouncy seat (the same one that Andrew loved which hangs in the door way). She can sit for a very long time just bouncing and jumping away like a little ballerina or gymnast!
She usually will bounce for a minute or so followed by a straight legged stop and a quick perusal of her domain before starting over again.
It is not uncommon for us to walk through the room while putting something away and she is grinning away with her gorgeous open mouth smile at either us, or at her brother who is in constant entertainment mode with her.
She also has mastered moving towards a toy in whichever direction it is in! I can't say that she can fully crawl yet, but somehow she just gets to where she wants to go. It's a combination of crawling, lunging, rolling, and scooting, but she gets there and is ready to play with whatever she was after, open mouth and all!
Madeline has always been a big leg kicker. Whether it is bouncing in the seat, standing on your lap, or kicking her legs when she is excited, her outlet has always been her legs! Always kicking and moving away!
Not sure if we will be able to keep up with her this time next year, but she sure is laying the ground work for a strong set of legs!
