At all of the previous check ups Andrew has sustained a 90% on both height and 75% on head circumference, while his weight has consistently been off the chart and somewhere near amazement with all of the nurses when they look at the scale readout. We will always cherish the first visit when the nurse not only weighed Andrew three times, but even took him to a different scale to make sure it wasn't miscalibrated! He is all love and rolls! His Momma keeps him well fed with "Momma Juice" and all the hugs and kisses he can stand!
So it was not a surprise that his weight was consistent and off the chart, but the nurse needed to remeasure him for his height as he jumped from 90% to just above where the chart ended!
He was just about 22 lbs (21lbs 15ozs) and 28.75 inches long! He is such our big boy! I can't imagine him being any smaller though as he is just perfect! His head circumference stayed at the 75% mark (17 3/4 inches) so he is holding steady there.
He did eat pretty much two table lengths of paper while he was waiting though. He is so cute while he attacks the paper as it crinkles and makes great sounds as he plays with it. It even tastes good to his little baby palette!
He didn't care at ALL for the four shots that he received from the nurse as was expected. But he did do well recovering from the trauma quickly. He was nearly back to his old Mr. Smiley self within 10 minutes or so.
