Andrew loves Jaz. Both Andrew and Jaz love water. We already keep the water bowls for the cats in the bathtub because Jaz can splash water out of his bowl far beyond any rational estimates, and my attempts to contain it. Therefore it was no surprise that given Andrew's improved climbing ability I'm now regularly finding Andrew in the bath tub holding the kitty water bowls up in his hands, asking for "mooe" water please (and such an angelic look on his face too). Sigh. This morning Jaz was with him in the bathtub watching the whole process, I'm sure taking notes on whether Andrew gets any quicker refilling of the bowls than his normal 5 am wake-up calls for fresh water... I, of course, complied, and with fresh water in hand Andrew takes the water bowl and tries to put it under Jaz's nose so he can drink it. Jaz afraid for his life, and wet fur, declined.
On another Andrew and Jaz story line, Andrew has taken to carrying Jaz around. Although he can't pick him up all the way, so he half drags him around with Jaz's back paws still on the ground. Jaz is patient enough to put up with this for quite a while until he runs off to hide. For those of you wondering about Racquel, she has yet to agree to this... she has also found a new hiding spot under our bed.
