As almost a requirement of staying in a new hotel with small children... the fire alarm went off at 1 AM Tuesday night. To credit the hotel they were able to turn it off relatively quickly, and for whatever reason, we didn't have to evacuate the room. After having battled Andrew to sleep the past few nights Nathan and I laid quietly PRAYING that Andrew would not fully wake up from the alarm. God took mercy on us, and while Andrew stirred a couple of times through the night, he stayed asleep. Whew!
Wednesday we traveled home after Nathan finished some morning sessions. We stopped for lunch at Cracker Barrel and Andrew was able to get the toy school bus he remembered from a stop at Cracker Barrel on our trip down on Saturday.
