Our routine in the morning is waking with Andrew and getting him set up in the living room with his breakfast at the coffee table and a TV show (currently Little Einsteins or The Backyardigans). This gives us about 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to get ready. Now that Madeline has joined us, she's still figuring out her exact place in this routine. This morning she joined me in the bathroom while I took a shower, sitting in her bouncy seat. After my shower, she moved into the living room, still in her bouncy seat, sitting next to Andrew's chair to keep him company. While passing through the living room, we caught Andrew sitting down on the floor next to Madeline, squeezed in between his chair and Madeline's to get close to her, and explaining what the TV was... "Look little girl, that's 'Little Einsteins'. No, don't look at me, look there (pointing at the TV), that's 'Little Einsteins'." Too cute.
