Saturday night was our 3rd year of 'Singe the S'more' and 2nd year of hosting it in our backyard. We opened up the Browne Family Campgrounds at 3:30 PM for campsite set up with dinner starting around 5 PM. This year we had setting up tents: us, the Cifarettos, the Walshes, and the Slades. For dinner and campfire songs we also had joining us, George and Maureen, Roger and Michelle, Valerie and Todd, and Suzanne and her son Alex.
Making it's debut this year was the outdoor "walk-in" movie theater. A real hit for the kids. Playing Saturday night was a special double feature of Ratatouille followed by Cars. We set up the back-jacks we got from Nathan's parents a few moves ago, and lots of blankets. It was really nice and easy to set up. Now if only we could borrow the projector from Nathan's office more often!
Sunday morning came brisk and early, but luckily warmed up by about 9 AM. After breakfast everyone took off for a short hike in the woods down to the creek.
Then after a big morning walk, time for lunch!
Another fun year, and looking forward to our two youngest participants, Madeline and Leah, being big enough next year to start joining in the fun.
